Yay Snow!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live someplace where it might snow unexpectedly, for no reason at all?

Me neither. But now I do.

The forecaster said it was supposed to be cool and drizzly yesterday, just like it every day in Seattle. The forecast was for 40°, cloudy skies, and a 50% chance of rain. And if you've ever been to Seattle (and I know you you have), you'd know that that's the weather forecast every other day, too.

So I walked out of the house in the mornng and thought, Boy it sure is cold.

Then I thought, Hey! What's that white stuff falling out of the sky?

If that forecaster was any farther wrong, he would have been demoted to threecaster.

Well, I may be from California, but eventually I figured it out.

Snow Clouds. One minute you're walking around in your shirtsleeves, and the next minute...Whammo!

Here's some Pictorial Evidence, taken from inside and outside. No points for guessing which is which. And now you know what the view out my window is like.

Then last night it rained and turned all the snow to yucky slush (or else slushy yuck) and today the sun came out and now it's all gone.

The End.

PS: When you go to Tahoe, be sure to watch out for Snow Clouds. They have them there, too. They can be dangerous. (If you don’t know what Snow Clouds are, be sure to ask your dad.)
